WHY ESTATE YOUTHS NEED TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST IN TIME
AGENT: it’s no news that among a number of estates in Lagos state Mile2 (Jakande estate) is one of the most easily identified community where many young people desire to run their daily activities without stress.This time, it’s not a business summit call, school events, seminars, community celebration or one of the popular celebrations. It’s a call of salvation for the vibrant youths of Jakande estate and Festac extension that are yet to pick up the call of salvation that has been on their life phones for some time now.At this point, it’s right to understand this properly.
Agent: Having a good knowledge of your involvement in Mile 2 already, how did this emerge?
Interviewee: Around 2008 – 2009, I saw in a clean and clear vision what really alarmed me. Yes, I agree that it is important the salvation of our LORD Jesus Christ reaches everyone living here and even beyond. But this really opened me up to something different entirely.In that realm, I saw that it was raining heavily. But instead of water, it was fire! Fire was coming down directly from heaven instead of water (as rain). Then I discovered that I was busy helping a large number of people under the fire down pour, who were simply youths in this estate, calling them for safety towards a particular direction… That was it.
Agent: So after this experience, what did you do about it?
Interviewee: Due to the weight of the vision, I kept it to myself for some weeks thinking I would come over it with time. But it persisted and came up strongly. When I could not help it further I bounced on my PC and printer. Having the whole vision printed out (in red) and enveloped it, I gave copies to some youth leaders in some of our churches here.
Agent: Can you mention one of them for clarity?
Interviewee: If you think so. One of the churches I can remember vividly is Christ Church Anglican here in Mile 2 estate.
Agent: So, after this, what else?Interviewee: Well, on my part I believed I had taken a step. Although, I didn’t ‘tail’ the steps of those I gave the printed message.
Agent:Why?
Interviewee: I actually gave it to those I respect
Agent: Did you actually pass it round to all the churches?
Interviewee: That one, no. it really did not appear to me so seriously. Like I said earlier, and I can also say I depended on the church youth leaders I gave; going by what I ended it with, which is for them to kindly pass it on to others. But I can’t really establish that; whether they did that or not.
Agent: What then do you think this letter stand to change?
Interviewee: Bishop David Oyedepo (my father) had said to me not once that, If a man does not know where he’s going, everywhere would look like it to him. This information is towards a direction, one change, and it is the salvation change. The letter is to create awareness and help the youths living here to note that GOD has a good plan to free them from an evil agenda they know nothing about.
Agent: What’s the latest push?
Interviewee: My hell experience!
Agent: What about it. Can you please shed more light on this?
Interviewee: Well, recently I found myself on my knees before GOD, asking Him to measure up my work before Him so far; knowing fully well that He’s responsible for my breathe and no one else. In the quest for this, I got to my evangelism life and that was it. The next night rest brought the hell experience we are talking about. I was actually driven by an Angel into a large twisting cave, illuminated with hot coal. The heat was so terrible. My heart actually fainted… (See, when we think we can handle GOD’s punishment, we are actually playing on our intelligence and mocking ourselves).After this, He asked me if I wanted to end in hell, and I quickly answered that I preferred heaven. Then He further asked if I wanted the youths of this estate to end there.
Agent: What then was your answer? Or didn’t you answer Him?
Interviewee: I did; but not convincingly. I agreed that a number of these youths we are talking about have heard about the salvation of Jesus Christ before now. It’s just that they are yet to receive more light to make the final decision for Jesus Christ as their LORD and SAVIOR, which directly saves them from the horrible punishment hell holds for the unbelieving till eternity.
Agent: I noted your response earlier. Why didn’t you answer convincingly?Interviewee: I didn’t because I thought as a weak young man. But after that I received grace to let them know about the love of Jesus and Him being the only escape route out of the consuming hell specially built for the condemned devil and his angels (demons).
Agent: what is the next step like?Interviewee: Well, thanks to GOD who has given this privilege to know about the safe plan He has for His people who are yet to hear His voice and come to Him. The message continues through wider platforms, especially for the youths that are engaged in series of activities related with business meetings, school call ups, family events and so on. I think it’s right to respect their engagements and fashion out a better way of reaching them with this only “escape route” out of the yet to be experienced hell. This will be without hesitation. This is urgent; it’s the King’s business.
Agent: What is your conclusion?Interviewee: Three sentences really.Firstly, Jesus Christ is coming soon, sooner than we all think (including the already saved)Secondly, Hell fire is not for us, but for the condemned devil and his agents.Thirdly, although, fake ministers (fake preachers, teachers, prophets and so on) may be many now a days, yet the true ministers (true preachers, teachers, prophets and so on) are before our eyes to tell the world the truth about GOD and how we should live. That’s all.
